The Lorgorligi Locomotion Poetry Show (LLPS) is a poetry event birthed by Poet Rapper Hondred Percent. The creative after publishing his debut poetry book, Lorgorligi Locomotion, sought to create a space to nurture the appreciation and growth of poetry within Accra.
Hondred wanted to do something different and as such brought the three concepts of writing exercises, open mic performances, and interviews together. It feels a bit haphazard but it’s the kind of synergy that the poet believes will gradually contribute to the craft.
Kukun has agreed to work with the Poet Rapper in creating this space. So from the beginning of January 2023 on the second Friday of each month, The Lorgorligi Locomotion Poetry Show will give audiences the opportunity to appreciate poetry.
